program purpose

We are pleased to announce the official launch of the Riva San Vitale Alumni Association. The RSVAA has been formed to serve as a focal point for alumni of the various programs conducted at Virginia Tech’s Center for European Studies and Architecture in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland.

The goals of the organization are simple:

1. Keep alumni informed, in touch with one another, and updated of the program’s growth and evolution.
2. Promote the Center for European Studies and Architecture, in conjunction with the program and Virginia Tech.
3. To serve as a home for all of us who share the kindred spirit of the Ticino and Riva San Vitale.

The initial programs launched by the RSVAA will include coordinating local events and alumni reunions, updates and editorials from faculty, alumni and students, and a place submit and post personal photos for all to share and enjoy. Projected next steps include a scholarship program and attaining Non-Profit status.

We would like to see as much participation as possible from all who are interested in keeping the spirit and prosperity of the program alive and well.
